Biography
Hi I’m Audrey and a fun fact about me is that I’m blocked by a cult on Facebook.
I’m from California, where green grass is usually fake and real grass is usually yellow. One of my favorite things about Boston and New England in general is the sheer abundance of real green grass. In my humble opinion, touching grass is one of the best things that someone can do for themselves, unless you’re allergic.
I came into MIT thinking that I’ll spend the bulk of my days sitting on my butt coding, but I soon discovered the joy of makerspaces! There’s a certain magic to tinkering with tools and watching your ideas materialize into actual things that you can see and touch. After a few change of majors forms, I’ve settled into majoring in 6-9 (Computation & Cognition) and minoring in 2 (MechE).
When I’m not getting blocked by cults or touching grass or accidentally welding my workpiece to the table, I’m pretending to be a firebender. Thank goodness MIT Spinning Arts exists as a venue for non-bending normies like me to wave around props of fire and light. I take great pride in teaching other non-bending normies how to set things on fire SAFELY.
That’s all for now! Thanks for reading! Flameo Hotman!
